Restaurant websites that answer the three questions people actually have.
Are you open, what do you serve, and how far away are you. Everything else on the page is decoration.
Almost nobody browses a restaurant website. They arrive with a question, usually on a phone, usually while somebody else is getting impatient: are you open right now, what is on the menu, and how far is it. A site that makes them pinch and zoom a PDF loses the table to whoever loads faster.
So the menu is real text. It reads at a glance, it turns up in search, and you change a price or pull a sold-out special yourself in about two minutes. Hours sit where a hungry person looks first and read correctly on a holiday. The address is tap-to-navigate, the phone is tap-to-call, and your own food photography gets the room it deserves instead of sitting under a stock photo of a fork.
Written by Nic Rodriguez, who built the barbecue sample this page links to and made every one of these calls inside it, starting with the menu. More about who builds this.
What restaurant web design looks like once those three questions come first
- A menu in real text, not a PDF: readable on a phone, findable in search, editable by you
- Hours, including the holiday ones, where somebody deciding right now will see them
- Tap to call, tap to navigate, and your ordering or booking link where people look for it
- Your own food photography, cropped and sized so the page still loads fast
- A page per location if you run more than one, each with its own hours and menu

A working sample build of exactly this kind of site. The business in it is invented. The site is not: every screen works, so you can judge the work rather than the description of it.

Questions we hear from restaurants.
Can I change the menu myself?
Yes, and you should. A new price or a sold-out special is two minutes from your phone. Or hand it to Care at $200 a month.
Do you connect online ordering and reservations?
We build around whatever is already taking your orders and bookings, and we put those links where people look for them rather than three scrolls down. You keep your system and your reports. If you want ordering built into the site itself instead of handed off, that is a Custom project and we scope it before we start.
We have two locations. Does that cost more?
It is a bigger site, so it is scoped as one. Each location gets its own page, its own hours, its own map, and a menu that can differ from the other. Tell us how many when you ask for a quote and the number that comes back covers all of them.
Tell us about the restaurant.
How many locations, whether the menu changes often, and what is already taking your orders. That is enough for a real number, back within 24 hours.
Work you can check before you talk to us.
Two real client builds and the process that produced them. One is public right now, the other goes live when the client moves their domain across.
