Why not just use a website builder?
Builders hand you a tool and a monthly bill. We hand you the finished site: custom code, published price, free hosting. You run your shop, not a dashboard.
What happens if the design is not right?
You see the design before you pay for the build. A refundable deposit starts it: $250 for site builds, $100 for portfolio builds. It comes off your total, or comes back to you in full any time before you approve a design. It is a deposit, not a purchase.
Who owns my website and my domain?
You do, once the project is paid in full. You buy the domain in your own name, at a registrar, so that one is yours from the day you buy it. The code is yours in its own repository. If you leave, it all goes with you. No lock-in, no export fee.
What does free hosting actually mean?
Exactly what it says: $0 a month, SSL included, on your own domain. We built it ourselves, so it costs us almost nothing. The only monthly fee is Care, and Care pays for people. While we host it, your site carries a small "Powered by Alamo Digital Solutions" line at the foot of the page.
Why not pay a monthly fee somewhere and get everything included?
A monthly service is cheaper in year one and past us by year three, and you never own the site: stop paying and it goes with them. Ours is one price, code included, hosting free. Care at $200 a month is optional, and cancelling it costs you nothing you own.
What does the $500 Portfolio plan cover?
For individuals: photographers, designers, makers. Up to three custom-designed pages, free hosting, your own domain, no monthly plan. The deposit is $100 instead of $250. Businesses start with The Build at $2,500.
What happens if I cancel Care?
Your site stays live and hosting stays free. Care only buys the human work: updates, monitoring, backups, priority support. Cancel any time, come back any time.
I already have a website. Can you move it?
Yes. We rebuild your content, connect the domain you already own, and switch over once you approve. Same address, no downtime.
Is it really about five days?
Yes: about five business days from first conversation to launch. Bigger and Custom builds take longer, and your quote names the dates before we start.
